IRCTC Complaints Against Overcharging

Overcharging here means the charges collected by service staff of mobile/static units of licensee departmental from passengers for any food & beverages items over and above approved rate or printed MRP prescribed/fixed by IRCTC/Railway Board. Lesser quantity served than what is prescribed is also overcharging.

Types of Overcharging

  1. Overcharging on Tea/Coffee
  2. Overcharging on Meals
    • Adding extra dish without order of passengers
    • Charging on account of non availability of change
    • Charging extra for chilled PDW bottle
    • Adding items to combo meals without order of passengers and not as per prescribed menu
  3. Overcharging of PAD items over and above printed MRP

Call

Call at toll free number 1800111139 for registering your grievance/suggestion at complaint cells of Zonal control offices which are 24 x 7 operational.

SMS

You can also lodge your complaints through SMS and send it to 9711111139.

Bengaluru Auto-rickshaw Complaints

Recently I came across one of my friend’s blog post on Bangalore Auto-rickshaw complaints via SMS. Apparently the Bangalore Traffic Police has come up with some really cool services to help out the Bangaloreans. So, I would like to include it in my series.

In case of refusal or overcharging by an auto, just send an SMS to 52225 (Airtel customers) and others to 9663952225.
