IRCTC Complaints Against Overcharging
Overcharging here means the charges collected by service staff of mobile/static units of licensee departmental from passengers for any food & beverages items over and above approved rate or printed MRP prescribed/fixed by IRCTC/Railway Board. Lesser quantity served than what is prescribed is also overcharging.
Types of Overcharging
- Overcharging on Tea/Coffee
- Overcharging on Meals
- Adding extra dish without order of passengers
- Charging on account of non availability of change
- Charging extra for chilled PDW bottle
- Adding items to combo meals without order of passengers and not as per prescribed menu
- Overcharging of PAD items over and above printed MRP

Bengaluru Auto-rickshaw Complaints
Recently I came across one of my friend’s blog post on Bangalore Auto-rickshaw complaints via SMS. Apparently the Bangalore Traffic Police has come up with some really cool services to help out the Bangaloreans. So, I would like to include it in my series.
In case of refusal or overcharging by an auto, just send an SMS to 52225 (Airtel customers) and others to 9663952225.
